Collection Spotlight: April 22, 2025 is Earth Day!
Earth Day is an annual event that raises awareness about environmental issues and encourages action to protect our planet. The first Earth Day took place in 1970, and it has since grown into a global movement, with participation from more than 190 countries.
Celebrate by visiting the UBC Education Library and exploring our Earth Day book display, located in the breezeway on the main level. The display features books on sustainability, conservation, and the natural world—perfect for sparking ideas and inspiring action.
