John Yap, B.C.’s Minister of Advanced Education, Innovation & Technology recently announced that BCcampus will coordinate a project that will make the textbooks for the 40 most popular post-secondary courses freely available online. The project is expected to begin in the 2013-2014 academic year and Mr. Yap estimates that most students will save anywhere from $900-$1500 each year.
