Our Stories: A living Library of Antiracist Pedagogy.
Inspired by the concept of the “Human Library,” this event will offer a space for intimate learning exchanges around lived experiences of race and racism in pedagogical contexts. Teachers from different backgrounds will share their personal story to small groups of interested “readers.” Like visiting a library collection, participants will move between these ‘books’ allowing each story to function as a stimulus for personal reflection and group discussion.
The event will take place on June 8th from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. in the Education Library.
